Learning paths are an effective tool in upskilling your employees. You can create learning paths that are specific to competencies outlined in your competency framework, and make these learning paths freely accessible to all users where those competencies are relevant to their level.
There are some instances where employees are unaware of which learning paths are relevant for them based on their competencies. With learning path recommendations, employees can now be recommended paths relevant to their competencies and performance.
In order to enable the learning path recommendations for all employees, admins must link Learning paths to specific competencies. If there are no competencies linked to a learning path, then these paths cannot be recommended to relevant users.
If there are learning paths that are connected to competencies but the user does not have an active goal connected to competency or past reviews, then learning paths that are relevant to the user's skills will be recommended.
Enable learning path recommendations
To enable these recommendations, please link competencies to learning paths within the basic settings of the learning path.
Then ensure that the targeting scope includes the ability for everyone to access the learning path, or users with the relevant linked competencies.
These recommendations will then be visible in the 'Your learning paths' menu, under 'Recommended paths' for users with the relevant competencies (company or team specific).
