During the timespan of a review cycle, there may be many times where a user does not finalize their review before they go on leave, are out sick for an extended period, or are terminated. In these cases, the other users involved in the review assessment for a participant, would not have access to the completed, but not finalized review.
Admins can enable a feature through the feature access matrix that can allow super-admins, admins, review admins, or other custom roles, to be able to submit reviews on behalf of others, when events such as these occur.
To enable this feature, Navigate to Settings > Employees > Feature access matrix > Reviews > Submit reviews on behalf of others > enable for the relevant roles. For security purposes, this feature can only be enabled for Admins, or custom access roles, and not managers or normal employees.
How to submit the review on behalf of another person within a review cycle
Navigate to Reviews > cycles > select the relevant cycle where you would like to submit an unfinalized review from a participant > Scroll down to the participant list > click the three dots next to the review you would like to submit on behalf of the contributor > submit on behalf.
Once selected, a model will pop up letting you know the stipulations you should follow.
After you click confirm, you will be directed to the assessment you would like to submit. Here you would select "Finalize on behalf."
If the option to share the assessment is enabled through visibility settings, then the modal to allow the submitted to share the assessment will appear once it has been finalized.
*Please note: The ability to submit an assessment on behalf of another user requires the user to have access to the review cycle dashboard. Admins, super admins, and review admins automatically have this visibility and capability, but if using custom access roles, you must enable the user to edit all review cyles within the feature access matrix, or make the custom access role user a template/cycle owner.
