How to create a goal
How to create goals in Leapsome. A user creates a goal by clicking Create, then Create goal, selecting New goal, and choosing From scratch. They enter the goal name, then select a badge such as Planning to help filter and visually distinguish the goal. Using the Owners and contributors dropdown, they assign responsibility to a specific team member. Visibility settings can be changed so only managers and contributors can view the goal. A business cycle is selected from the Cycle dropdown to associate the goal with the relevant period. Tags are added to make the goal easier to locate. Key results are selected to define clear, quantifiable objectives. A target value is entered for the goal. Once configuration is complete, the goal is published to enable visibility and tracking. The goal can be edited after publishing by clicking the edit button, where metrics for proposed initiatives can be added. Changes are saved by updating the goal.
