As a super-admin or compensation module admin, you can use the analytics overview dashboard to get a view of all the compensation-related outcomes and results for your teams. The analytics can give you an overview of how much has changed in terms of compensation and promotion decisions, as well as visual insights into the salary distribution between genders and seniority levels.
Visibility
A Super-admin and compensation module admin will have access to the analytics for all employees and teams. A compensation cycle owner will have access to the analytics for the cycles owned by them, and managers and HRBP’s can access the compensation analytics for the teams that they manage.
Overall Insight
Compensation Overview
The compensation overview shows you a live update of how much the compensation value has been raised for the participants included in the compensation cycles. By default, the results shown in the overall insight are the aggregated results from active compensation cycles, or if there are no active cycles, the values show the aggregated results from the last six months. You can filter this view using the drop-down menu to view either the total compensation values or focus on salary and bonus individually. Similarly, you can deep dive into a specific cycle by filtering for compensation cycles.
The section highlights the following key data:
- Total number of employees with any proposal
- Number of proposals that are signed off compared to opened proposals
- Any overdue tasks that have passed the soft deadline related to proposal sign-off
Visualization
Next, there are two visual charts - one reflects the gender pay distribution within your company; you can see an overview of the average salary per team, including a comparison between different genders. These insights can help you to ensure that gender equality is taken into consideration during compensation reviews.
Please note: Users who do not wish to specify their gender or who do not have this information included in their profile will not be shown in the chart.
On the right hand side, you can see the distribution of salary by seniority level. If you already have levels set up in Leapsome, you can view the average vs. the median per level. The median is the salary right in the middle position in the ordered list of salaries. In an even-numbered salaries list, it is the average of the two middle salaries. You can also make the analysis more granular using the filter options.
Promotion Overview
The promotion overview tab shows insights into promotion outcomes. As an admin you can view the number of promotions which resulted in compensation changes and promotion distributions grouped by team, gender or location. Managers and HRBPs can view the data that relates to their team.
