With Leapsome, you can create an accountable and transparent environment where employees can autonomously track their work hours at the touch of their fingertips. Admins are equipped to set up policies tailored to each team individually and remain compliant with legal standards.
This article points you to relevant resources to enable you to set up, view, edit and assign Time Tracking policies; You will also find guidance on how to navigate timesheets and submit your time tracking entries.
- To ensure the desired visibility of the module, start by configuring the access to the Time Tracking module in Admin Settings. You can select whether all, selected or no employees should have access. Check out this article.
- Platform admins are equipped with Time Tracking policy creation and modification options. Employees have these policies assigned to them in their profiles. As an Admin, to start creating Time Tracking policies, check out our ‘Creating policies’ article, which walks you through all the steps needed.
- Check out our 'Viewing & Editing policies' guide to learn what editing options are available to already-created Time Tracking policies.
- Once you are ready to assign policies to employees, you will want to do so in the 'Employees' tab. Check out the article 'Assigning policies' to learn more.
- You can track time via the widget available when employees log into Leapsome. If you’d like to learn more about how to use and navigate the widget, check out the article 'Time Tracking via widget'.
- Policies will have to be reviewed, approved, and/or rejected by specified approvers. How to select the approvers and build an approval flow, learn about it here.
- Once the policies are finished, polished and assigned to employees - it’ll be important for them to understand how to navigate their assigned timesheets. Employees will see the ‘My timesheets’ section only as this is where they will submit their time entries. Learn more on how to submit the time tracking entries here.
- As an approver, you’ll have an additional tab available, titled ‘Employee timesheets’. This will be used to overview the sheets submitted by your employees, and interact with them. Check out how to navigate them here.
