You can allow managers and employees to distill the essence of an assessment with many contributors with the click of a button. The AI functionality in Reviews offers managers and employees an easy way to summarize the content of an assessment and save substantial time in the review process. In addition to that, the option to summarize feedback removes inherent biases, promoting a fair assessment.
How to enable the AI summary functionality in Reviews
To switch on the feature, navigate to your Admin Settings > Employees > Feature access Matrix > AI features, and enable the setting 'Reviews - generate summary'.
Please note that:
- Only managers and the reviewee can summarize the feedback
- Employees can summarize the feedback only once the manager has shared it
- Managers can summarize the feedback at any point of time
- If a manager has summarized the feedback, as an admin or cycle owner you can also access the summaries
How to create an abstract of a Review
As a manager, you can summarize qualitative comments for the whole review at any point in time by navigating to one of your direct reports' assessments in the Review dashboard and clicking on 'AI summary'. As soon as you summarize the feedback, admins and cycle owners can also access these summaries.
With that, you will get a concise, digestible review summary, along with suggested action plans. Please note that the AI considers not only the question answers but also additional context such as the question, question description, scale, rating, and user role.
